Edward Jones Retirement Plan Platform Change Options

MGA will be happy to assist with the change from an Edward Jones brokerage account to a record keeping account at John Hancock or American Funds!

Steps for Platform Change:

1. Financial advisor & client meet to choose a new vendor approved platform

2. After platform is selected complete Edward Jones paperwork, Vendor paperwork and MGA contract

3. Work with one of the transition partners for transfer from brokerage account


Required Edward Jones Paperwork:

1. Plan Services Agreement (SIGNED by Client) Please click for Sample form.

2. Plan Information Form (Filled out and signed by FA) (SIGNED by Client) Please click for Sample form.

3. Fiduciary/Trust Account Auth form (SIGNED by Client) Please click for Sample form.


Required MGA Consultants Inc. TPA Change Paperwork

1. Fill out and return a Client/Plan Information sheet Please click for Sample form.

2. Call (410) 750-6790 or email our office for Reduced Fee Schedule for Edward Jones platform change.

3. Sign MGA Contract. Please call or email our office for a contract.

4. Provide MGA with Plan Document. Please click for a complete list of items MGA will need.

2. John Hancock prepares proposal and signature ready sold case paperwork

3. Sign John Hancock Change of TPA form Please click for Sample form.

4. John Hancock prepares liquation letter and specific timeline for each plan

5. John Hancock will schedule enrollments directly w/advisor/client

6. MGA will provide John Hancock with plan specifications upon receipt of your Plan document.
